My name is Gleb Mikhalev. I am an Emmy-winning cinematographer known for my ability to capture and convey authentic and meaningful connections through the lens of my camera.

From a young age, I was captivated by the world of filmmaking, which was inspired by my mother's work as a documentary filmmaker. This passion led me to pursue a Film degree at Bard College.

After my studies, I embarked on a remarkable journey to Southeast Alaska, where I was honored as a National Geographic Young Explorer. During my time there, I engaged in archaeological projects while also advocating for environmental conservation, using my cinematography skills to shed light on important issues.

In 2017, I returned home to New York, where I joined the groundbreaking HBO show at Vice as a staff DP and took on the role of DP for the Showtime series titled "Everything is Going to be All White."

Through my diverse experiences and dedication to storytelling, I continue to find joy in capturing those subtle yet profound moments that make for compelling and immersive narratives on the screen.
